Partybot 6000 is alive and well…in Thailand

The old CAVEradio mascot, Partybot 6000, was recently spotted in Thailand…yes, Thailand. Contest winner Johnny, who won the Henry Rollins Tattoo contest, took Partybot with him on his vacation and got a few shots of Partybot enjoying Southeast Asia amongst fireworks, breakdancers, flying paper lanterns and lots of people. On the September 8 episode we kicked off a campaign to help a friend in need. We discovered a friend of the show, Larry, is seriously movie deprived. Deprived to point where he hasn’t seen movies like Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Rocky, Superman, the Godfather, Back to the Future…all the movies a good person should, whether they like them or not; good movie or bad movie. The one hour show

Our upcoming show on 3/4 will be a special 1-hour show starting at 10PM ET. Why one hour instead of the normal two? We’ve come to realize and admit that going a full 120 minutes is tough. We usually putter out at 90 minutes, but a 90 minute show is slightly awkward.

We’re not sure if we can squeeze our awesomeness down into a nice 60 minute package, but we’ll see what happens. But we’re starting at the same time, so you can show up like normal. Just don’t be surprised when we end at 11pM instead of midnight.

And we’ll need your feedback about the 1-hour format, so leave comments, call-in during the show or call us and leave a voicemail.

I disagree.. I enjoy the 2 hours of goodness.. you let the audience in when the core content begins to drag… that fixes it all.

Thanks for feedback I agree but that only works if the audience actually joins in, which has seemed to be fading as of late. But we didn’t like the 1-hour format either, so we’re back to full strength next week!
