Partybot 6000 is alive and well…in Thailand

The old CAVEradio mascot, Partybot 6000, was recently spotted in Thailand…yes, Thailand. Contest winner Johnny, who won the Henry Rollins Tattoo contest, took Partybot with him on his vacation and got a few shots of Partybot enjoying Southeast Asia amongst fireworks, breakdancers, flying paper lanterns and lots of people. On the September 8 episode we kicked off a campaign to help a friend in need. We discovered a friend of the show, Larry, is seriously movie deprived. Deprived to point where he hasn’t seen movies like Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Rocky, Superman, the Godfather, Back to the Future…all the movies a good person should, whether they like them or not; good movie or bad movie. What can we do with stickers?

We have a boatload of CAVEradio stickers that we’ll be giving out all season on the air and live during appearances, but what can we do with them? We need your ideas.

Last year was the year of the Partybot. If you got a Partybot 6000 consider yourself lucky because there aren’t many left to give out, thus we had to switch to stickers. The fun with Partybots was seeing where people would take them, submitting photos as they went around the country.

We want to have everyone do something with stickers too, but we’re not sure what exactly. We could do the whole “stand and hold the sticker when you travel,” but that’s kind of just a lame Partybot gimmick. We’d love to do a “show us where you stick it” campaign but we don’t want to condone sticking them anywhere unsavory or unwanted in public.

Whatever it is, we just want it to be fun and something that everyone can do and enjoy.

How about a variation of “show us where you stick it” See if you can get pics of a CAVEradio sticker from all 50 states.
