Partybot 6000 is alive and well…in Thailand

The old CAVEradio mascot, Partybot 6000, was recently spotted in Thailand…yes, Thailand. Contest winner Johnny, who won the Henry Rollins Tattoo contest, took Partybot with him on his vacation and got a few shots of Partybot enjoying Southeast Asia amongst fireworks, breakdancers, flying paper lanterns and lots of people. On the September 8 episode we kicked off a campaign to help a friend in need. We discovered a friend of the show, Larry, is seriously movie deprived. Deprived to point where he hasn’t seen movies like Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Rocky, Superman, the Godfather, Back to the Future…all the movies a good person should, whether they like them or not; good movie or bad movie. Vote for your favorite mixed tape

Voting for the second Mixed Tape Challenge is open! Launch the Mixed Tape Player and listen to all the entries and rate each tape. Your votes combined with our own will help pick the next Mixed Tape Challenge winner. If all goes well we’ll name a winner on this week’s show!

And remember, the theme is Get Pumped, so vote high for the mix that you think does the best job at getting you psyched!

Use the menu to pick the tape you want to listen and click the Load Tape button. Once the tape is loaded, use the Play/Stop buttons to listen. You have to stop a tape before you load a new one. Unfortunately, there is no pause. So if you stop a tape and hit play again, it will start at the beginning.

When it’s over, will we be able to see links to the actual players or something with some sort of list showing what the songs are?

Yes, after we announce a winner we’ll post the links so you can see song names. Just wanted to keep them hidden for voting so people would have to listen and enjoy.

Go ahead and use the stars to rank your favorite tapes. I’m stupid for not making the whole thing a “pick one” type vote, but whatever. Your rankings will influence us heavily

And I’ll let it out that Will does not have 99 problems. He has 98.
